Gatherings, Pop-Ups, and Events

SPACIOUS has created events in DC, Baltimore, Los Angeles and New York over the years. We create original events or attend great things in a city, adding on a component of connecting people for facilitated conversation and deepening relationships.

• Adult Spelling Bee (partnering with Politics & Prose in DC)

• Blank Canvas Day (create a painting as a group, find your inner artist)

• Breaking Down Social Silos (with Unsectored)

• Central Park Walkabout with Bluebrain's location-specific app

• Crowd-sourced dance choreography

• Everyday Improv -- how improv mirrors life (or should!)

• "Every Story Matters" dinners 

• Flash Tables (homemade pie parties for everybody with beautifully set tables in public places in need of love)

• Movie discussions (Can you guess our discussion topics for Searching for Sugarman and Bill Cunningham: New York?)

• Prejudice and Preconceived Notions Dinner (paired with Feastly)

• Ripple Effects of Loss (partnering with artist Mark Strandquist as part of Write Home Soon at Organization of American States' Art Museum of the Americas)

• Unique Day (a thrift store visit as the backdrop for introducing cool people to a group)
